Postoperative Care

Your pet will typically go home the day following surgery. The time for discharge is between 9:00am and 9:30am.

Kennel space is limited and pets for surgery that day will be arriving between 9:30am - 10:00am. Your cooperation in being prompt will allow the doctor to spend the necessary time with you and eliminated congestion in the waiting room. 

Suture removal and follow-up visits are scheduled between 9:00am and 10:00am.

A detailed handout of postoperative instructions for your pet's specific surgery will be provided to you when you pick your pet up from surgery.
